Refund of donations
In general, Ihsan does not issue a refund for donations. Any request for refund of donation or part of donation must be submitted to board of directors. It is up to the discretion of board of directors to approve or reject the request.
Refund of registration, service and tuition fees:
Registration fee
The deadline for receiving full refund of registration fee is one week before the start of session.
A complete withdrawal from the program is required to be eligible for refund of registration fee.
After the above deadline, no part of registration fee will be refunded.
Tuition Fee
Project leader is responsible for setting the guidelines for refund of tuition fee for his or her project.
Project leader is responsible for informing students about refund guidelines upon registration.
Please submit your refund guidelines to treasurer before the start of session.
Upon receiving the refund request, a refund should be issued according to refund guidelines for the project.
In the absence of well published guidelines, a pro-rated refund without any penalty or fee must be issued.
Refund Process
Customer/student should submit completed refund form to the project leader.
Project leader would review the form and approve or reject the refund request.
Project leader is responsible for calculating the refund amount based on refund guidelines issues and communicated at the beginning of the program.
Project leader should submit refund form to Ihsan treasury for processing.
Treasury will issue a refund check within a week of receiving the fully completed refund request form.
Project leaders with their own bank account should not issue a refund check.
Ihsan overhead is not refundable.

Sample 1 – Used by the Qur’an schoolRefund:
All students are required to pay the full tuition in advance of the start of the session. Upon approval, the full payment can be deducted through automatic withdrawal over two payments at the beginning of each four weeks.
Enrollment is per session only. We do not accept any partial enrollment. i.e. enrollment in some number of classes or weeks instead of the full 8 weeks session.
The deadline for receiving full refund of the registration fees is one week before the start of the session.
The deadline for receiving 75% refund of the registration fees is the first day of the session.
The deadline for receiving 50% refund of the registration fees is one week after the start of the session.
No refunds will be made after one week of the start of the session.

Sample 2 – Used by the Ihsan Youth Preparatory
The deadline for receiving full refund of the 10% down payment is four week before the start of the school year
Refunds will be issued on a prorated basis for any remaining days of the school year from the time students cancels the enrollment in the program.
