Purpose
The objective of the framework is to minimize the dependency on individuals for making decisions. Thus, avoiding the creation of bottleneck situations where decisions are being queued waiting for one person to finalize.
Principles
Each project leader has full decision-making ability within:
The approved project form and approved project budget form
The approved operation documents for the organization
Project forms establishes the project guidelines including strategies and performance criteria
Operation documents establish the operation guidelines for the organization (e.g. branding document, financial policy, etc)
In absence of guidelines or as need arises, the president can make decisions with proper consultation. These decisions should be presented to the next project leaders meeting
What does this mean?
Any guidelines for operation should be included in an operation document.
Any project should have a project document (project form and its associated budget form)
All project leaders have full decision making while following the project document and all operation documents
Project leaders must amend the project document or operation document in case they need to do something that is not included in these documents.
All documents are established through the document approval process.
