Purpose
To define, establish and implement policies that provide the Ihsan’s rules and regulations regarding Internet usage within the building premise.
Policies
By accessing the internet service provided by Ihsan, a user agrees to all the terms, conditions and policies listed in this document
Ihsan reserves the right to take suitable actions in the event these policies are violated
The following activities are strictly prohibited
Engaging in any cyber activities that is considered impermissible by Islam
Accessing (including browsing) Web sites, news groups or other Internet locations for purposes of gambling or engaging in any illegal activity.
Downloading or transmitting fraudulent, threatening, obscene, intimidating, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or other-wise unlawful text, images, audio, video or other media format.
Illegally installing or downloading computer software, programs, or executable files contrary to policy.
Engaging in any activity that is illegal under local, state, federal or international law while utilizing Ihsan’s owned resources including internet service.
Unauthorized copying of copyrighted material including, but not limited to, digitization and distribution of photographs from magazines, books or other copyrighted sources, copyrighted music, and the installation of any copyrighted software for which Ihsan or the end user does not have an active license
Introduction of malicious programs into the network or server (e.g., viruses, worms, Trojan horses, e-mail bombs, etc.).
Attempting to alter or damage computer equipment, software configurations, or files belonging to Ihsan, other users, or external networks.
